TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Overnight Lane Closure on I-64 West Beginning Thursday, Oct. 30, in Franklin County
Contract crews to perform bridge maintenance work
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 28, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an overnight lane closure on Interstate 64 West beginning Thursday, Oct. 30, in Franklin County.
The left lane of I-64 West at mile point 53.15 (at the bridge over U.S. 127/Lawrenceburg Road) will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, to 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
The overnight lane closure is necessary to allow contract crews to complete bridge maintenance work. Motorists are advised to follow all lane closure restrictions, use caution when traveling through the work zone, and plan for additional travel time.
