TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on I-64 West Beginning Sunday, Nov. 2, in Franklin County
Contract crews to patch bridge deck
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on Interstate 64 West beginning Sunday, Nov. 2, in Franklin County.
The left lane of I-64 West at mile point 49.145 (at the bridge over South Benson Creek) will be closed from midnight on Sunday, Nov. 2, to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The extended lane closure is necessary to allow contract crews to complete bridge deck patching work and provide adequate time for the concrete to cure. Motorists are advised to follow all lane closure restrictions, use caution when traveling through the work zone, and plan for additional travel time.
