KY 399/KY 587 in Lee County to be closed Saturday, Sept. 20
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 399 and KY 587 at Idamay in Lee County should plan to use an alternate route on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m. near milepoint 2.1 for replacement of two drainage pipes. This location is near Tim Reece's Body Shop on the concurrent segment of KY 399 and KY 587.
No signed detour will be posted. Alternate routes to bypass the closure include Delvinta Road, KY 399, KY 3536, KY 30, and KY 11 through Owsley County; or Todds Road/Cressmont Road and KY 399.
In case of inclement weather, the project may be postponed until another suitable date.
Approximately 370 vehicles use this section of KY 399 and KY 587 each day.
