Railroad Crossing Work Planned in Davies-Henderson Counties
Crossing repairs scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (September 12, 2025) – CSX Railroad has notified the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet that it plans to close a section of U.S. 60 in northern Daviess County and southern Henderson County this week to make repairs to a crossing.
U.S. 60 will be restricted to local traffic only between KY 1554 (4.3 mm) in Stanley, which is in Daviess County, and KY 1078 (16.5 mm) in Henderson County. CSX plans to use these two roads to detour traffic to the Audubon Parkway.
Work is being conducted at the CSX crossing of U.S. 60 in Stanley, at the 4.25 mm.
The closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and last through Thursday, Sept. 18.
