A Turn Lane Project at the KY 234 and KY 880 Intersection in Warren County Begins Monday
The work is being done during nighttime hours
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Sept. 12, 2025) – A project to improve safety and mobility at the intersection of KY 234 Johnny Webb Boulevard and KY 880 Lovers Lane in Warren County begins next week. Beginning Monday, Sept. 15, motorists should expect lane closures during nighttime hours. Most of the work is expected to be done between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The bulk of the project is expected to be completed by late November.
The purpose of the project is to improve safety and traffic flow in the area. Traffic currently creates frequent traffic queues in the current left-turn lane from KY 234 to KY 880. The expansion of the turn lanes will allow for more traffic storage in the turn lanes.
Motorists should expect travel delays and use caution when driving through this area. Scotty’s Contracting & Stone LLC was awarded the contract in June for the amount of $403,000.
