Storm drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 4, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Old Richmond Road/KY 2328 will be closed on Friday for storm drain repair operations.
Thursday, Sept. 4 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (work will not completed due to rain)
Friday, Sept. 5 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (work is now scheduled for this day)
Old Richmond Road/KY 2328 – at the Fayette & Madison County line
- a closure will be in place between milepoints 0.000 – 0.517
- the location is between the Fayette-Madison County line and Beach Road (CR)
- motorists will need to utilize an alternate route
Alternate Route:
- motorists can utilize north and southbound Interstate 75
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
