Dorena-Hickman Ferry Is Open
PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 28, 2025) — The Dorena-Hickman Ferry is open.
The ferry had been closed since Aug. 23 due to dredging in the harbor.
The ferry is operating on its summer schedule. The last run from Kentucky is at 6:15 p.m. and last run from Missouri is at 6:30 p.m. The Dorena-Hickman Ferry accepts cash only.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.
