Wright's Landing in Owensboro to be Blocked on Wednesday
Asphalt repair work scheduled for tomorrow
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (August 12, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to block a 1.17 mile section of KY 1831/ Wright's Landing Road in Owensboro on Wednesday.
A crew will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to make asphalt repairs to the roadway. The roadway will be fully blocked during this time between KY 2803 (0 mm) and KY 405 (1.17 mm).
Motorists should use KY 144 and KY 405 to detour around this closure.
