Preventive maintenance scheduled for Jessamine County
Microsurfacing treatment to extend the life of roadways
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 6, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that preventive maintenance is scheduled. Microsurfacing treatment slows the deterioration of pavement, reduces upkeep and the costs of construction. In addition, it provides motorists with increased safety.
Saturday, August 9 through Sunday, August 31 – 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. (times are approximate)
Note: work will be in effect for both weekdays and weekends
North Main Street/US 27X – North and Southbound
- the project limits are between milepoints 2.0 and 3.9
- the location will be between Lexington Road and Elm Street
- one lane will be closed in each direction
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
