Daytime Lane Restriction Planned on I-24 Westbound Between Mile Markers 4 & 7.5 on Wednesday, Aug. 6
PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 5, 2025) – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is planning a work zone lane restriction on Interstate 24 westbound in McCracken County on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
During daytime hours, a crew will be installing rumble strips between mile markers 4 and 7.5 along I-24 westbound. This is part of the I-24 Ohio River Bridge work zone.
Motorists should be alert for signs and arrow boards directing traffic into the appropriate lane.
Please slow down and use extra caution in the work zone, where workers and equipment will be close to traffic flow.
