Nighttime Road Work Scheduled Along U.S. 641/12th Street in Murray Starting Thursday, Aug. 7

Milling and paving planned between near Tabard Drive and KY 80

PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 5, 2025)  A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to begin nighttime milling and paving along U.S. 641/12th Street in Calloway County starting on Thursday, Aug. 7.

The work zone will extend from mile point 6.6 to 11, or from near Tabard Drive to KY 80 in Murray.

Lane restrictions will be in place in both directions, with two paving crews operating simultaneously. Work will take place nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Motorists should be alert for flaggers, signs and message boards in the work zone. Use appropriate caution.

The work is expected to take about three weeks, weather permitting.
