Extended Closure Planned for KY 2532/County Line Road Near Ballard-McCracken Line Starting Aug. 6
Roadway will be closed from Crossett Road to U.S. 60
PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 1, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning an extended closure of KY 2532/County Line Road from Crossett Road to U.S. 60, or about mile points 4 to 5.35, starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
This section near the Ballard-McCracken County Line will be closed for approximately four weeks while crews rebuild entrances and realign KY 2532/County Line Road with the new U.S. 60.
The roadway is expected to reopen on about September 3, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
