Resurfacing Project on KY 159 in Pendleton County Beginning Wednesday, July 30

Crews will work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

COVINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a resurfacing project on a portion of KY 159 in Pendleton County beginning Wednesday, July 30.

Crews will be resurfacing KY 159 beginning at Grimes Road (mile point 2.87) extending north to the southern end of North Little Kincaid Creek bridge (mile point 4.66), a distance of 1.79 miles. 

Beginning Wednesday, July 30, crews will begin milling/paving operations in the project area. This work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists should expect a single lane closure. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic through the work zone.

Mago Construction Company LLC is contracted to perform the $169,755 project on behalf of KYTC. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late August.
