Daytime Road Closure Scheduled for Pipe Installation on KY 194 in Pike County (Majestic Area)

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (July 23, 2025) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 12 advises motorists that KY 194 will be temporarily closed in the Majestic area on Tuesday, July 29, to allow crews to install drainage infrastructure.
Crews will be working between milepoints 66 and 67, just above the church near the Stopover and Majestic intersection, to install a cross drain pipe across the roadway. An entrance pipe is also scheduled to be installed in the same area, possibly on the same day.

- Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: KY 194 between MP 66 and 67 near the church in Majestic
This work will require a full road closure during the scheduled hours. Motorists will not be able to pass through the area while the pipe is being installed. Please plan accordingly and seek alternate routes during this time.
