Multi-day closure of KY 587 in Lee County scheduled for next week
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 587 (Farmers Ridge) near Delvinta in Lee County should prepare to use an alternate route for three days next week.
The road will be closed Tuesday, July 22 through Thursday, July 24, at milepoint 6.3 for replacement of a large drainage structure. The closure will be in effect 24 hours a day until the work is complete.
No signed detour will be posted. Motorists can use Todds Road, Cressmont Road, and KY 399 to bypass the closure.
In case of inclement weather, the completion date for the project may be delayed and the closure may be extended.
Approximately 150 vehicles use this section of KY 587 each day.
