Resurfacing Project on Fowler Creek Road (KY 1486) in Kenton County Beginning Friday, July 11
Crews will work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
COVINGTON, Ky. (July 10, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a resurfacing project on Fowler Creek Road (KY 1486) in Kenton County beginning Friday, July 11.
Crews will be resurfacing Fowler Creek Road between the Fowler Creek Road Connector (KY 1486C) (3.28 mile point) and Madison Pike (KY 3035) (4.44 mile point), a distance of 1.16 miles.
Beginning Friday, July 11, crews will begin working on base failure repairs in the project area. This work is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect a single lane closure. Flaggers will be in place on both sides of the work zone to guide motorists.
Milling and paving operations have not yet been scheduled. KYTC will advise on social media when milling and paving operations are scheduled.
Riegler Blacktop Inc. is contracted to perform the $162,152 project on behalf of KYTC. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed Nov. 15, 2025.
