Update - Repairs postponed for Interstate 75 in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 9, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Routine pothole repair work will be rescheduled due to the forecast of inclement weather.
The work described below will not take place this evening and will be rescheduled.
Interstate 75 – Southbound
Wednesday, July 9 – 6 p.m. until 12 a.m.
- two left lane closures will be in effect at milepoint 116.1
- this location is .5 miles south of the northern split on the Cane Run Bridge
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
