DATE CHANGE: KY 946 in Menifee County to be closed Thursday, July 17
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 946 near Pomeroyton in Menifee County will need to find an alternate route on Thursday, July 17. The road will be closed at milepoint 0.123 for replacement of a drainage pipe. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and should be complete by 7 p.m. This location is just east of the KY 746 intersection.
The project was previously scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, but has been postponed by one day.
No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 746, US 460, and KY 1569 as an alternative route to bypass the closure.
In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable date.
Approximately 240 vehicles use this section of KY 946 each day.
