UPDATE: KY 1477 in Marshall County Remains Closed Near Refuse Road During Ongoing Repairs

Work is expected to wrap up by about Thursday, July 10

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 7, 2025) – KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road in Marshall County remains closed near Refuse Road due to ongoing repair work.

Crews are replacing a cross drain and addressing additional maintenance needs.

The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, July 10, weather permitting.

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 4, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed a section of KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road in Marshall County between mile point 1.2 and 1.5 due to a failed cross drain.

This is along 1477/Benton Briensburg Road between Refuse Road and the community of Briensburg.

Repairs will be scheduled.

Motorists are asked to self-detour.

KYTC District 1 will provide updates when new information becomes available.
