Overnight Ramp Work Begins Monday, July 7, as Part of the Ongoing I-75 Resurfacing Project in Grant County

Overnight delays possible near Exit 159 to KY 22 in Dry Ridge

COVINGTON, Ky. (July 3, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of upcoming resurfacing work on the on/off ramps and shoulders of Exit 159 to KY 22 in Dry Ridge on Interstate 75 in Grant County.

Crews will begin by resurfacing the southbound on/off ramps and shoulders on Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8, followed by the northbound ramps and shoulders on Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10.

All work is scheduled to occur nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Interstate traffic will be reduced to one lane during these hours.

Ramp access will be maintained at partial width, but short, temporary closures may occur to safely complete paving work along the shoulders.

Once ramp resurfacing is complete, lane closures will continue to allow crews to continue milling/paving and shoulder work in the area:

  • I-75 southbound: right lane and shoulder closure
  • I-75 northbound: center lane, right lane, and shoulder closure

Motorists are advised to use extra caution, reduce speed in work zones, and watch for signage and crews while traveling through the area.

This work is part of the ongoing resurfacing project on I-75 in Grant County. You can learn more about the project here.
