Update – Rescheduled operations for
Mercer County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 2, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are rescheduled for Mercer County. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows.
The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists will be able to pass through the work zones.
Note: work is rescheduled for today due to Tuesday’s inclement weather
