Operations scheduled for Anderson County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 1, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled for Anderson County. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic.
Wednesday, July 2 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
US 127
- alternating lane closures will be in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
- the location will be at the intersection with the Kroger grocery store (milepoint 3.2)
US 62
- alternating lane closures will be in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
- the location will be the intersection with Hilltop Drive (milepoint 20.5)
Thursday, July 3 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
US 62
- alternating lane closures will be in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
- the location will be the at the intersection with Lynn Drive (milepoint 18.8)
US 62
- alternating lane closures will be in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
- the location will be the at the intersection with Westwood Drive (milepoint 17.3)
