Daytime Closure Planned on KY 994/Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County on Monday, June 30
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 26, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) McCracken County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close a section of KY 994/Old Mayfield Road, north of the community of Freemont, on Monday, June 30.
A crew will replace a cross drain along KY 994/Old Mayfield Road between KY 1288/Lebanon Church Road and KY 999/Krebs Station Road, or mile points 2.7 to 3.8.
Work will start at approximately 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 2 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
This work is being completed in advance of a paving project scheduled later this summer on KY 994/Old Mayfield Road in McCracken County, from mile points 2.1 to 6.8, between the communities of Freemont and Hendron.
