Traffic Advisory - US 31W in Hardin County
Milling and paving expected to be complete by the end of July
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (June 25, 2025) – A resurfacing project along a three-mile stretch of US 31W between KY 313 and KY 1815 in northern Hardin County is underway. Work for milling the old surface will continue Sunday through Friday (6:30pm-6:30am). Work is taking place overnight, to minimize traffic impacts and provide more efficient working conditions.
Milling and application of the new asphalt surface should be complete around the end of July.
Traffic should be aware of various lane closures and uneven pavement in the area and pay close attention to signs and flaggers directing traffic around work crew operations.
