CORRECTION: Paving and Resurfacing Work Scheduled on US 119 near Town Mountain in Pike County
Northbound Lane Closures Expected June 25
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (June 23, 2025) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 advises motorists that paving and resurfacing operations will take place on US 119 near the KY 1426 (Town Mountain Road) intersection area beginning the morning of Wednesday, June 25.
Crews will set up a northbound lane closure after 8:00 a.m. to begin resurfacing work on the lanes heading toward Williamson. The inside (fast) lane will be milled and resurfaced first, followed by the outside (slow) lane.
This maintenance work is expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. the same day, weather permitting.
