Closure scheduled for Buckeye Road/KY 39 in Garrard County
Slide repair operations between milepoints 17.5 and 17.7
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 17, 2025) – KYTC advises the traveling public of a temporary closure. A section of Buckeye Road/KY 39 will be closed for slide repair operations. Motorists will need to utilize an alternate route.
Wednesday, June 18 through Monday, June 23– 8 a.m. Wednesday until Monday, June 23, at 4 p.m. (times are approximate)
Buckeye Road/KY 39 – North and Southbound
- a closure will be in effect between milepoints 17.5 – 17.7
- the route will be closed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
- motorists will need to take an alternate route
Alternate Route
- the traveling public can utilize Wolf Trail Road/Poor Ridge Road/KY 563
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
