KY 136 at Beech Grove to be Restricted to Local Traffic for up to a Month
KYTC to replace cross drain in preparation for an upcoming paving project
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (June 11, 2025) – A 4-mile section of KY 136 between Calhoun and Beech Grove in McLean County will be restricted to local traffic only for up to one month, starting June 16, as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet replaces cross drains along this route.
The traffic restriction will be in effect from KY 56 (0 mm) in Beech Grove to KY 140 East (4.3 mm). A signed detour will be in place for through traffic.
This work is necessary to prepare the roadway for an upcoming resurfacing project.
