Operations scheduled for West Maple Street/Wilmore Road/KY 29
in Jessamine County
Roadway improvements
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 10, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of work scheduled for West Maple Street/Wilmore Road/KY 29. The roadway upgrades will include drainage improvement, base failure repairs (restoring pavement) and milling/resurfacing (adding a new top layer of asphalt). The work will be performed by the Allen Company Inc.
Wednesday, June 11 through Tuesday, August 12 – 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays (hours and days for work could vary each week)
West Maple Street/Wilmore Road/KY 29 – North and Southbound
- alternating lane closures will be in effect between milepoints 9.515 and 10.626
- flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct the traveling public
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
- the section for work is between the Nicholasville Bypass/US 27 and Main Street/US 27X
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
