Traffic Advisory – US 150 in Washington County
Closure through August 9th with signed detour
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (June 9, 2025) – As part of the KY 555 project in Washington County and to improve safety by reducing the risk of higher speed collisions, a roundabout is being constructed at the intersection with US 150 Bypass. Construction requires closure of the bypass beginning this week.
Traffic is being rerouted along US 150X into Springfield between Saint Catherine and the Perryville Road end. Those traveling along KY 555 will not have to detour. Minor delays will result from traveling through town.
Motorists are advised to be patient and plan for additional travel time. Slow down and use extra caution with added traffic in Springfield.
The closure will last up to 60 days, with reopening expected by August 9th.
