Temporary Closure Along KY 1286/North Friendship Rd Near Olivet Church Rd Intersection June 16-17
Paducah Water to replace two pipeline crossings
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 11, 2025) – A contractor for Paducah Water plans to temporarily close a section of KY 1286/North Friendship Road on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17 for the installation of two pipeline crossings.
The closure will be near the intersection with KY 998/Olivet Church Road, or mile point 6.6.
Road closed signs will be posted at multiple locations on Olivet Church and New Holt roads.
Paducah Water is working with businesses and residents affected by the closure and will provide directions for local access.
During the two-day closure, motorists will have no access to North Friendship Road from U.S. 60/Hinkleville Road or U.S. 62/Blandville Road via KY 998/Olivet Church Road.
