TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Routine Inspection of the Milton Madison Bridge Beginning Tuesday, June 10, in Trimble County
Daily shoulder closures scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 9, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises the public of the upcoming routine, hands-on inspection of the Milton Madison Bridge in Trimble County.
Beginning Tuesday, June 10, daily shoulder closures will be in place to accommodate manlift and other inspection equipment, requiring traffic shifts on the Milton Madison Bridge, which carries U.S. 421 over the Ohio River. The closures will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday, June 13, to avoid disrupting rush hour traffic. Crews will stage equipment on the sidewalks, which may temporarily restrict pedestrian access.
Motorists should heed signage and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
