Bridge project to begin for Birdie Road/KY 395 in Anderson County
A new bridge will be constructed to replace the existing bridge
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 6, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a project beginning on Birdie Road/KY 395. The work will replace the existing Bridge No. 003B00041N on Birdie Road/KY 395. This location is over a branch of Indian Creek in Anderson County. The replacement project will be completed by Hinkle Construction Services LLC.
Note:
- the bridge will be closed to all motorists during the time of construction
- the traveling public will need to utilize a detour route
Monday, June 9 through Friday, August 1 - work will be in effect between the hours of 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays and weekends
Birdie Road/KY 395
- a closure will be in effect at milepoint 0.46
- the location for the project is the bridge over Indian Creek near KY 44 on KY 39
Detour
- the traveling public can utilize Alton Station Road/KY 512, Alton Road/KY 151 and Glensboro Road/KY 44
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
