Operations scheduled for
New Circle Road/KY 4 in Fayette County
Rolling roadblocks will be utilized for pothole repairs
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repairs. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized for the work. Temporary delays for traffic during the operations could be approximately 15-20 minutes. Motorists are advised to watch for signage and flashing arrows directing of the ongoing work. The Kentucky State Police will be assisting with traffic control.
Thursday, June 5 – 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. (midnight)
New Circle Road/KY 4
- Outer Loop - operations will begin at the Leestown Road/US 421-Exit 7 (milepoint 7.2) and proceed toward Woodhill Drive (CR) (milepoint 14.5)
- Inner Loop - once the work on the Outer Loop has been completed, operations will move to the Inner Loop at Woodhill Drive (CR) (milepoint 14.5) and then return to Leestown Road/US 421-Exit 7 (milepoint 7.2)

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
