Operations scheduled for
Harrodsburg Road/US 127 in Anderson County
Lane closures for asphalt resurfacing
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 23, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of operations scheduled for Harrodsburg Road/US 127. Lane closures will be necessary for asphalt resurfacing by Mago Construction Co.
Monday, May 23 through Tuesday, June 10 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays
Harrodsburg Road/US 127- North and Southbound
- lane closures will be in effect between milepoints 1.386 and 2.554
- flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic
- during peak traffic hours the contractor will make an effort to avoid areas adjacent to the Bluegrass Parkway Ramps
- the work area location is 0.095 miles south of McCalls Spring Road extending north to 0.019 miles north of US 127B
Tentative schedule:
5/27 through 5/28 - milling of the southbound driving lane
5/29 through 5/30 - paving begins for the southbound lane and milling will begin for the northbound lane
6/2 through 6/4 - paving will begin for the northbound lane
6/5 through 6/6 - stabilization will be applied to the roadway shoulders
6/9 through 6/10 - striping will be completed, edgeline rumbles will be installed and erosion prevention will applied to the roadway shoulders
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
