KYTC crews to repair roadway slide following recent heavy rainfall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 22, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the upcoming closure of a section of U.S. 421 beginning Monday, June 2, in Trimble County.

The full closure beginning Monday, June 2, is necessary to allow KYTC crews to repair a roadway slide caused by recent heavy rainfall. Crews will also address base failures and implement slope protection measures.
