Be Alert! Mobile Work Zone Along KY 305/Old Cairo Road in McCracken County
PADUCAH, Ky. (May 21, 2025) – Motorists should be alert for a mobile work caravan along KY 305/Old Cairo Road in McCracken County. The work zone spans from near U.S. 60 in West Paducah to Coleman Road — or approximately mile points 4.03 to 9.3.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is currently installing edge rumble strips this week, with permanent striping to follow in the coming weeks.
Motorists should be alert for signage and flaggers around the continuously moving work zone. Appropriate caution required.
The entire paving project is expected to be completed by June 30.
