Paving Project to Begin on Olney Road Tomorrow
New asphalt to be applied to 3.69 miles of KY 1220 in Hopkins County
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 19, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin a paving project on KY 1220 (Olney Road) in Hopkins County on Tueday, May 20.
New asphalt will be applied to 3.69 miles of roadway between Trace Creek Bridge (2.8 mp) to KY 109 (6.5 mp).
Motorists should anticipate lane closures and alternating traffic flow controlled by flaggers.
Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of next week.
