Caution Advised for Motorists on Interstate 24 Between Mile Markers 24-26 in Marshall County

Estimated duration of cleanup is 2 hours

PADUCAH, Ky. (May 18, 2025) Motorists are urged to use caution on Interstate 24 between mile markers 24 and 26 in Marshall County due to ongoing post-crash cleanup operations in the median.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is conducting environmental cleanup following a recent commercial vehicle fire near the I-24 Exit 25 Interchange.

As the work is confined to the median, minimal impact to traffic is anticipated. Estimated duration is about two hours.

Please use caution where workers and equipment are along the roadway near traffic flow.
