Rescheduled road closure for
Paris Road/US 460 in Scott County
Debris removal near the bridge over Elkhorn Creek
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 7, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a rescheduled closure for Paris Road/US 460. A temporary closure is necessary for debris removal near the bridge over the Elkhorn Creek.
Note: work will not take place on Thursday, May 8, and has been rescheduled for Friday, May 9
Friday, May 9 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Paris Road/US 460
- a closure will be in effect at milepoint 10.5 for debris removal
- this area is between East Main Street Extended (CR) and the Georgetown Bypass/US 460
- motorists will need to utilize an alternate route

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
