District 11 Crews Set to Perform Bridge Inspection on U.S. 25 Bridge Over Rockcastle River Wednesday, May 7 in Laurel County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 5, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that District 11 Crews are set to perform a bridge inspection on the U.S. 25 bridge over Rockcastle River (mile point 23.9) in Laurel County.
The work schedule is listed below:
- On Wednesday, May 7, the bridge will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flagger control.
Engineers will be using a Snooper Truck to access the deck substructure on the bridge.
Motorists are advised to use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers. The work is dependent on weather conditions.
