UPDATE: Eastbound U.S. 60 in Owensboro Blocked at West 5th Street Road
U.S. 60 & West 5th Street Road reopened

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 28, 2025) – For the safety of motorists, eastbound U.S. 60 in Owensboro is blocked after the West 5th Street Road overpass was struck by a vehicle.
Inspectors are on the way to the bridge to assess damage and determine the condition of the structure following a crash that occurred around 12:15 p.m. today.
Both eastbound lanes of the highway are closed at approximately the 10.6 mile point at the on ramp to the westbound Audubon Parkway. The closure also blocks the eastbound exit of the Audubon to U.S. 60 eastbound (23.2 mp)
KYTC engineers have also blocked the Daviess County road, West 5th Street Road, pending the inspection.
