Motorists should expect single lane closures between the working hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. On Monday, April 28, crews will begin milling U.S. 27 south of Main Street (KY 22) (6.75 mile point).

COVINGTON, Ky. (March 14, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of an upcoming resurfacing project on U.S. 27 in Pendleton County, set to begin Tuesday, March 18.

Crews will resurface U.S. 27 beginning at the Harrison County line (mile point 0.0) extending north to just south of Kennedy Bridge Road (mile point 9.65), a distance of 9.65 miles.

Work will begin with trenching operations on Tuesday, March 18. This work is necessary to repair recurring shoulder/pavement edge issues along U.S. 27 south of Falmouth. Once trenching is complete, milling and paving work is expected to follow in late April.

The contractor will be on-site between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures during these daytime working hours. Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic safely though the work zone.

Please drive carefully through the project area. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route to avoid potential delays. KYTC will advise if the schedule is adjusted via our District 6 roadshow.

Mago Construction Company LLC, is contracted to perform the $4,016,695 project on behalf of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Project schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
