Update - Closure scheduled for
Interstate 64 Rest Area in Clark County
The I 64 Rest Area located between milepoints 99 and 98
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The Interstate 64 Rest Area in Clark County will be closed for a period of time.
The closure now includes the building and parking lot. The temporary closure is necessary for electrical work (new pole and electrical box) to be completed by a contractor.
Monday, May 12 through Monday, May 19 – 6 a.m. Monday, May 12 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 19
Interstate 64
- the rest area (building) will be closed between milepoints 99 and 98
- the parking lot will be closed to motorists
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
