Maintenance Project on Turkeyfoot Road (KY 1303) in Kenton County Beginning Monday, April 28

Flaggers will direct traffic safely through the work zone

COVINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a maintenance project on Turkeyfoot Road (KY 1303) in Kenton County beginning Monday, April 28.

Crews will perform ditching and drainage operations on Turkeyfoot Road from south of Yancey Drive (5.82 mile point) to Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) (6.24 mile point), a distance of 0.42 miles. This project will improve drainage near the road, and also improve safety for all road users.

Our Kenton County KYTC maintenance crew will perform the work between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. This work will require a single lane closure throughout the project area. Flaggers will be used on both sides of the work zone to guide traffic safely through. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route during peak travel times, as delays are likely.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed on Monday, May 12. KYTC will provide updates on social media and the District 6 Roadshow if additional days are needed.

Project schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. For the most current information on road construction in Northern Kentucky, please visit the Driving Northern Kentucky Progress website or the District 6 Roadshow.
