Traffic Advisory: Paving Next Week on KY 1 in Greenup County
Expect flagged traffic, possible closures
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (April 11,2025) – Paving will take place next week along seven miles of KY 1 in Greenup County, requiring temporary traffic changes.
Beginning Tuesday, April 15, and continuing for the next two weeks, motorists should expect one-lane flagged traffic on KY 1 between the Greenup/Carter County line (mile point 0) and Addie Road (mile point 5.34).
Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling
The work is being done by Mountain Enterprises, Inc., under a $837,213.50 Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract.
