Daytime closures of KY 1110 in Breathitt County begin Monday, April 14
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 1110 in Breathitt County should prepare to use an alternate route next week. Steel drilling to repair a break in pavement that will require the road to be closed is scheduled to begin Monday, April 14.
The road will be blocked during daytime hours, typically 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., through at least Friday, April 18, at milepoint 0.07. This location is just north of KY 28 near the Breathitt-Perry county line.
No signed detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 28, KY 315, and KY 1933 as an alternate route.
Fewer than 350 vehicles use this section of KY 1110 each day.
