Traffic Advisory: Temporary Closure of KY 1937 (Bear Creek) for Slide Repairs

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (April 2, 2025) – State highway crews will temporarily close part of KY 1937 (Bear Creek) at mile point 5.5, in Boyd County beginning next week for a slide repair
Beginning Monday, April 7, crews will close KY 1937 to fix a slide repair. The road will remain closed day and night through Wednesday, April 16. All traffic should detour using KY 757 (Whites Creek) or Ponderosa Drive or Dog Fork Road.
