Work on I-69 Rehab Project Planned for this Weekend in Madisonville
On-ramp from Center Street/Brown Road to be blocked on Saturday
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 27, 2025) – The contractor working on the I-69 Rehab Project in Madisonville plans to block the on ramp from KY 70/254 (Center St/ Brown Rd) to northbound Interstate 69 at Exit 114 on Saturday.
The closure is expected to begin around 4 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 and should be completed by that night.
There are no other changes to the existing traffic control patterns planned at this time. Lane restrictions from KY 281/Island Ford Road to the KY 2657 and on the Exit 117 overpass to U.S. 41 will stay in place.
The work is part of the ongoing $10 million interstate rehabilitation project along a 4.34-mile section of I-69 in Madisonville. The work zone stretches from KY 70 (114.24 mile point) to the KY 2657/Fowler Road overpass (118.15 mp).
