UPDATE: Daytime Closure Planned at U.S. 68 Little River Bridge in Cadiz Delayed to April 7
Debris removal expected to last about one week
PADUCAH, Ky. (Mar. 26, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has rescheduled the start of a daytime closure of the Little River Bridge on U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road in Trigg County to April 7, 2025.
The bridge is located at the 1.615-mile marker near Cadiz City Park at the west-edge of downtown Cadiz.
A crew plans to use a long-reach excavator to remove debris lodged against bridge.
The closure is now tentatively scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays from Monday, April 7, to Friday, April 11, weather permitting. There will be no closures on Saturday and Sunday.
Motorists may self-detour via KY 139/South Road and U.S. 68/Bypass Road.
KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates on this project should the work be completed ahead of schedule.
