Public Comment Period Extends Until April 11 for TDOT I-69 Interchange Re-configuration Project

Public meeting was held Thursday in South Fulton, TN

PADUCAH, Ky. (Mar. 21, 2025) The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) hosted a public meeting Thursday night at South Fulton Middle and High School to gather public input on the Interstate 69 interchange re-configuration project connecting Interstate U.S. 51 in Tennessee with the newly designated I-69 corridor in Kentucky.

Attendees were able to view exhibits, talk to project team members and ask questions.

The project is being led by TDOT, in partnership with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).

Written comments may be submitted by April 11, 2025, to the following address: Project Comments, Tennessee Department of Transportation. Suite 700, James K. Polk Building, 505 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37243-0332. All written comments will become part of the official meeting record.

Construction is estimated to begin in 2028.
